Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading or using the Taven app (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. You must be at least 18 years old to use it.

2. What Taven is

Taven is a guided wellness training program for the pelvic floor: short daily sessions, a cyclical program that adjusts to your feedback, progress tracking, and an optional Apple Watch companion. It is an educational and fitness tool for general wellbeing.

3. Health and safety

• The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• If you are recovering from surgery, have a medical condition, or are unsure whether this training is right for you, talk to your doctor before starting.
• Stop immediately and seek professional advice if you experience pain, discomfort, or worsening symptoms.
• Results vary from person to person. No specific outcome is promised.

4. Taven Coach (AI)

Taven Coach generates answers automatically using a third-party AI model (DeepSeek). Its responses are informational training guidance only: they can be incomplete or inaccurate, they are not reviewed by a professional, and they are never medical advice. Don't rely on the Coach for health decisions, and see our Privacy Policy for how Coach questions are processed. We may change, limit or discontinue the Coach at any time, and daily usage limits may apply to free use.

5. Subscriptions ("Taven Pro")

The full program requires an auto-renewing subscription, offered as a weekly or a monthly plan. A portion of the program (Day 1) is available free of charge.

• Price: the exact price in your local currency is always shown in the App before you subscribe.
• Free trial: where offered, new subscribers get a 3-day free trial on the weekly plan. You can cancel during the trial at no charge. Any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
• Renewal: the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancelling: manage or cancel anytime in your device's settings (Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Billing: all payment is processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details.

6. Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

7. Your data

Taven stores your training data only on your device and collects nothing, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your device backups. Deleting the App or using "Delete all data" permanently removes your local data.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the App or its content, and not to use the App in any unlawful way. The App's content (program logic, texts, illustrations, design) is protected by copyright and remains our property or that of our licensors.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Changes to the App or these terms

We may improve or modify the App and these terms over time. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the App with reasonable notice. Active subscriptions remain governed by Apple's terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the developer is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
